Crosstown Station

5.1
Crosstown Station is an exciting new music venue located at 1522 McGee. We are in the heart of downtown wedged between the Crossroads Arts District and all the new development of KC Live and the Sprint Center. Built from the ground up, Crosstown Station is the place in Kansas City to see and hear your favorite bands. A true live music space cleverly designed so that everyone in the room has a perfect view of the stage, while also creating the perfect atmosphere to hangout and have a drink when the music stops. So what makes Crosstown Station different from those other bars with a stage in the corner? From the first day our focus has been to provide the best environment possible to put on a live concert. In the conception phase, we concluded that people want unobstructed views of the stage when they pay to see their favorite band. Simple right? People standing in back should be higher than those in the front. The stage should be elevated enough so that people can see all of the performers – even the drummers. All of these ideas brought us to our goal. Give our customers as many elements of a large-scale concert while maintaining the atmosphere of a smaller music club. We started to tackle these ideas in the design phase where we added features to ensure that our sound and lighting production would be second to none. We used an acoustic modeling program to guarantee that all the music coming from our stage is hitting you loud and clear. The way it is supposed to be and with vibrant lighting. Lots and lots of lighting. Lighting so good you are going to have to come down to Crosstown Station and see it with your own eyes. If you come in during Happy Hour you will likely see an acoustic performer or trio up on our bar stage. That way you can get your fix for live music and grab a slice of our delicious pizza for dinner. We will have you home by bedtime. In the finish phase we put a lot of thought into what was going to leave our customers feeling like they had never had so much fun at a concert. Things like lots of promotions and giveaways. A customer loyalty program so everyone from the casual to the hardcore music fan will feel like part of the family. If you can’t hold it for three hours, go in and enjoy our nice clean bathrooms. No duct tape holding the seat together like those other places. We also included plenty of seating for those who like to sit back and plenty of dance floor for those who like to get up and move. Whatever you need to have a good time you will find at Crosstown Station.
