Kansas City native and Grammy-nominated producer, Jo Blaq is one of the guest hosts during the evening along with special guest and Hollywood actor and singer, Christian Keyes from BET’s Saints and Sinners, In Contempt and The CW Network’s, Supernatural.
This highly anticipated event is sure to serve a variety of professionals as it features three entertainment rooms, including a classic gala style room, a high-energy night club section and an ultra-lounge with neo soul rhythms. Evening entertainment will feature selections from premier musicians including Da Truth band, KC’s top soul cover band, the D9 band and guitarist and singer Ivy Roots. In addition to live music, guests can dance all night in the ballrooms with DJ Hobo Tone and DJ Hank. When you want to change the pace, recline with DJ Joe Brooks in the lounge.
It is presented by Beta Lambda Educational Institute and TWELVE magazine. Beyond a standard NYE, the event also serves as the kickoff to BL's Centennial
