The Kansas City Marathon Presented by Garmin has been named one of Trip Advisor’s “50 U.S. Road Races to Attempt in your Lifetime.” It was recognized by RaceRaves, the leading online race finder and community review site for runners, as the “Best Marathon in Missouri.” Finally, it was rated one of the top 20 Marathons on BibRave.com thus qualifying for “The BibRave 100: a Definitive List of the Best Races in America.”
With help from the many green partners, sponsors and volunteers, The Kansas City Marathon Presented by Garmin has been awarded Gold Certification from the Council for Responsible Sport. Only 20 events in the world have received gold level certification their first year filing since CRS was founded in 2008.
