The unofficial Motto of Independence Missouri "Let Us Amaze You" is very true to form. The fact that there are Ten Museums within the city limits of Independence Missouri, one of the larger malls in the county and sporting events that are always available, make Independence Missouri, not only a destination spot, but a location in which to spend many days enjoying the sites and culture of the town. The birthplace of Harry S. Truman and the Harry S. Truman Library is a must see for any visit to the Independence Missouri area. The weather is very predictable for the time of the seasons, with a fantastic view of color change in the fall. Centrally located in the Midwest, Independence Missouri enjoys tourism from most of the Continental United States.
