Imagining a world free of global conflict, the Museum and Memorial's North Frieze challenges us to "...strive on to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations." This June, we commemorate the centennial anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles with a "Tree of Peace" planting ceremony on the Museum and Memorial's North Lawn, honoring the memory of those who perished in World War I. Presented in partnership with The Czech & Slovak Club of Greater Kansas City.
