Kansas City Folk Festival is a free, all-day city festival that celebrates the music and arts of our neighborhoods, region and beyond.
Event Details
The KC Folk Fest is in the new hands of a new, community-led organization. Come celebrate with us at our kick-off fest Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Washington Square Park in the heart of KCMO. Our free daytime festival runs from noon til 6pm with a full line-up of local, touring and international artists. We also have a grassroots craft fair, farmer’s market, live painting, demos, storytelling and food trucks. Everybody is welcome! Admission is free but donations are appreciated (and help us pay for our amazing artists, permitting and promotions). Donors of any amount receive a super cute KC Folk Fest button as a show of support. $20 suggested.
