Event Details
This is a two-part show. In each half, the choreography explores a perspective on our interaction as people and our connections to one another.
The first half of our concert is choreographed by Bobbi Foudree.
Her piece, entitled Coulda', Woulda', Shoulda', explores all the potential connections people have the opportunity to make.
It tells a story of missed connections with those around you.
What makes us go on by, looking past other people? What would make us stop and see another person?
The second half of Happenstance is choreographed by Suzanne Ryan-Strati.
Her piece, Hello?, exposes aspects of humanity through vintage and current day phone conversations, from 1950 to today.
Humor, passion and secrets, told through contemporary ballet, tap, athletic and quirky modern dance fill the stage.
